The agency will render accounts to the citizens of its management in the field of prevention, investigation and evaluation of policies and practices related to fraud and corruption existing in the Valencian public administrations and its instrumental public sector.

Contributions in the procedures for the development and approval of standards
The Mesa de les Corts, in a session of February 6, 2018, admitted the bill, of the Generalitat, for the general inspection of services and the alert system for the prevention of bad practices in the administration of the Generalitat and its instrumental public sector, published in the Les Corts Official Gazette No. 253, of February 23 2018.
From the required respect and the necessary neutrality towards the reasons of opportunity that lie behind the political impulse of this bill and in exercise of the function described, the Agency has considered it appropriate to formulate, in the parliamentary process phase, the considerations and suggestions to the aforementioned bill which are set out below, focusing particularly on those aspects of the projected text that, directly or indirectly, are related to the general purposes and functions that Law 11/2016, of November 28, attributes to the Agency.
OBSERVATIONS TO THE PROJECT TO AMEND LAW 8/2016, OF OCTOBER 28, ON INCOMPATIBILITIES AND CONFLICTS OF INTEREST OF PEOPLE WITH NON-ELECTED PUBLIC OFFICES
On July 23, 2019, the Department of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Democratic Quality, published the announcement of public information and hearing of the project to modify Law 8/2016, of October 28, on incompatibilities and conflicts of interests of people with unelected public offices (DOGV n.º 8597) The Valencian Antifraud Agency has made some observations on this project, in its function of advising and making recommendations, among others, to the Consell de la Generalitat, in matters of integrity, public ethics and prevention and fight against corruption on current normative provisions or in approval process, for your free consideration.
