More than 140 public employees of the Government of Aragon receive integrity training from the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency
Valencia, April 27, 2026.- A total of 144 public employees of the Government of Aragon have participated in the conference “The culture of integrity and risk prevention in the public sector. Contributions of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency”, given by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) at the request of the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Food.
The training was aimed at personnel in charge of the management of aid and subsidies linked to European agricultural funds in the provinces of Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel, with the aim of reinforcing their knowledge in terms of public integrity and risk prevention in the management of public resources.
During the session, Pilar Moreno, technician of the Area of Training, Participation, Communication and Relations with other entities of the AVAF, addressed the main tools and initiatives promoted by public administrations to promote a culture of integrity.
The speaker also focused on the internal information systems provided for in Law 2/2023, of 20 February, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory breaches and the fight against corruption, highlighting their key role as instruments for the early detection of irregularities and the protection of whistleblowers.
The activity is part of the awareness-raising and training actions aimed at strengthening the capacities of public personnel in the responsible management of European funds, promoting ethical standards and effective prevention mechanisms in the field of public administration.
