The information constitutes an essential asset for the fulfillment of the purposes of the Agency and the information and communication technologies, which support its treatment, constitute fundamental means for this.
However, the use of the aforementioned technologies is not without risks and it is essential to introduce specific measures to protect both the information and the systems that process it. The objective of information security is to establish appropriate protection measures and reduce the risks to which the Agency’s assets are exposed to an acceptable level.
The Royal Decree 3/2010, of January 8, which regulates the National Security Scheme in the field of Electronic Administration stablishes, in its article 11, that all the higher bodies of the public administrations must formally have a security policy that articulates the continued management of security and that will be approved by the head of the corresponding higher body, for this reason the Prevention and Prevention Agency Fight against Fraud and Corruption in the Valencian Community is currently in the approval phase of the aforementioned policy.
