Transparency, a preventive instrument against Corruption. Unisocietat in Gandía

With a mixed format, the Unisocietat conference in which the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency collaborates took place in Gandia, with 21 people at the UVGandia headquarters and 44 people following the online session.

The conference, Does this transparency really work, or is it just a fad ?, was given by the professor of Constitutional Law at the University of València, Jorge Castellanos, who focused on the origin of transparency policies and laws and the keys to its subsequent application, together with future prospects in the matter.

The basic conclusion of the intervention and the public debate is that transparency is essential to provide citizens with qualified information on government action and is a fundamental instrument for good governance, accountability by public administrations. and the prevention of fraud and corruption.

Unisocietat is one of the initiatives that are part of the collaboration agreement between the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency and the University of Valencia, through the Vice-Rector for Territorial Projection and Society of the University of València, and has, among other objectives, promote training activities for good governance and citizen participation in the Valencian territory.

Unisocietat in Riba-Roja

The month of February ended with the first of the training activities of the Unisocietat program sponsored by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, in 2021, with a successful participation of 150 people.
