The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) was present at the course “Internal and External Information Systems: Procedure, guarantees and precautions” organized by UE Fundació Universitat Empresa ADEIT of the University of Valencia.
Amparo Martí Puertes, secretary of the AVAF Ethics Committee, gave the conference “Anonymous reporting: admission criteria. Guarantees for the protection of the reporting person” on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
After an introduction to the national, international and regional context in which Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption, is approved, the complaint was analyzed anonymous; the admission criteria, as well as the guarantees for the protection of the informant. All of this, with references to the work carried out by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, its functions and activities.
The course was attended by 76 people, 37 of them in person and 39 in online mode, highlighting the wide representation of participants from the regional administration.
Regarding their territorial distribution, 97% of them came from the Valencian Community. In turn, there were attendees from Cantabria and Madrid.
