Since its creation, the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency maintains collaboration systems in matters of training and public ethics with the Polytechnic University of Valencia. On this occasion, through the Docufòrums-AVAF activity on public integrity with second-year students of the Public Management and Administration Degree.
The docufòrum was held on Wednesday, November 16, with the assistance of 36 students, and the participation of the Information and Administrative Documentation teacher, Antonia Ferrer Sapena, and the Training technician, Marita Oliver.
After watching the documentary Corruption: Harmful Organism, the students ask questions, focused on the origin and causes of corruption, its effect and costs, the perception of corruption in our society and with respect to other neighboring countries, and on how to combat corruption.
In the debate, special attention was paid to how to act in a possible case of fraud or corruption, how to file a complaint, prevention, and the actions of politicians, the media, and the citizens themselves in view of the necessary integrity and public ethics.
The activity was organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, which we thank for its interest and willingness to help create a culture of public integrity and rejection of fraud and corruption.
