Successful participation in the new DocuforumAVAF at the Universitat Jaume I de Castellón

Castelló.- February, 3, 2025. More than 250 university students of the 1st year of Law Degree of the UJI of Castellón have participated in the DocuforumAVAF held last Monday, February 3 in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences of the university.

From the importance of the 2003 United Nations Convention on the Fight against Corruption, to the obligations for the public sector imposed by Law 2/2023, on the protection of whistleblowers, Pilar Moreno, training technician at the Agency, shared the most relevant milestones in anti-fraud policies in recent years in our country.

The students have expressed great interest in the testimonies of corruption informants, as well as in the reprisals suffered. Thanks to the collaboration of Professor Sara Sistero, of the Department of Public Law, administrative law area, the Agency’s Training Area continues to strengthen its commitment to the dissemination of public integrity and the work of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.

Youth and Integrity: IES Vila-roja of Almassora Takes Part in DocuforumAVAF

Almassora – January 30, 2025. The first-year history students of IES Vila-roja were the main participants in the “DocuforumAVAF” activity, which is being held for the second consecutive year at this high school in Almassora.

 

Pilar Moreno García, a training specialist, explained the functions of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency within the Valencian Community:

  • Protection of whistleblowers.
  • Evaluation, verification, and inspection of reports received through the external complaints channel.
  • Training in integrity and fraud and corruption prevention in public administration.

 

Thanks to the collaboration of Professor Joan Antoni Trenco, the Training Department was able to be present in the classrooms of IES Vila-roja, sharing the importance of promoting public integrity.

 

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency continues to contribute to the United Nations-led project #UnitedAgainstCorruption through its training sessions across the region.

DocuforumAVAF kicks off 2025 in the classrooms of Universitat Jaume I in Castellón #AVAFTraining

Castelló – January 30, 2025. The Training Area of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, with the aim of promoting a culture of public integrity among Valencian youth, has held the “DocuforumAVAF” activity in the first-year course of the Degree in Public Management and Administration at UJI.

 

More than 80 students from the “Introduction to Constitutional Law” course, thanks to the collaboration of Professor Jaime Clemente, have participated in AVAF’s first university training session of 2025.

 

Pilar Moreno García, a specialist from the Training, Participation, Communication, and Relations with Other Entities Area of AVAF, highlighted the importance of ethical commitment among young people, as they are one of the groups directly affected.

 

Raising awareness and promoting the importance of ethics and public integrity among university students is one of the commitments of AVAF’s Training Area.
