València, 13 October 2026.- The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) stands out for its extensive prevention and training work as a fundamental tool in the fight against fraud and corruption, underscoring the importance of training at all levels of public administration and education.
The training activities carried out by the Agency during the first half of 2026 enabled more than 1,400 people to take part in one of the 20 training activities organised.
The 20 training initiatives were delivered as follows: 6 in the province of Alicante (San Vicent del Raspeig, Dénia and Mutxamel); and 6 in the province of Valencia (Alfara del Patriarca and València). A further 8 activities were delivered online, thanks to the collaboration of the National Institute of Public Administration.
During the first half of 2026, the Agency’s training activity stood out for the diversification of the sectors it covered, promoting pioneering initiatives in their respective categories. These included the second edition of the conference “Strengthening Integrity in Public Healthcare Procurement” at the General University Hospital of Valencia Consortium, a key session aimed at all departments of the Regional Ministry of Health.
The Agency also extended its educational work into new areas, with the first specific training course for museum staff at the IVAM and an examination of conflicts of interest in academic and research settings at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Finally, particular mention should be made of the first meeting with the private sector, an information session devoted to the Register of Persons Responsible for Internal Reporting Systems, thereby strengthening the commitment to ethics across the professional community.
Continuing its outreach work, the Agency has continued to promote #DocuforumAVAF, an activity tailored to students at universities and secondary schools, vocational training programmes and associations. These sessions focus on topics such as the protection of reporting persons, reporting channels and fostering integrity in the classroom.
The Agency also keeps its catalogue open to institutions wishing to organise in-person outreach events or take part in round-table discussions and institutional conferences.
Whether you are a teacher or lecturer (at a university, secondary school or primary school), work in public administration, or belong to an association or organisation and are interested in this type of training, you can contact the Agency’s Training Department at formacion@antifraucv.es or consult the catalogue of available training activities at https://www.antifraucv.es/cursos-formacion/
