Alicante, 11 November 2025.– The subject “Governance and civil society in Latin America: from state intervention to local government” taught by Professor Katia Esteve, has been the space for analysis and reflection on the evolution of public control policies and new approaches based on integrity in which the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency has participated.
The online conference, entitled “From control to integrity: experiences of fraud prevention in the Valencian Community and Latin America”, was given by Pilar Moreno, senior training technician of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF), who shared experiences and challenges on institutional integrity at the state and regional level.
Valencia, 6 November 2025.- “Ethics and integrity policies in public administrations” was the title of the speech by Anselm Bodoque, head of the cabinet and studies of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency at the seminar on the subject “Strategic Management of Public Organisations” organised by Professor Daniel Catalá of the UPV. The seminar is aimed at students in the third and fourth year of the Degree in Management and Public Administration of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
In this training action, the AVAF has intervened with the aim of bringing the Agency’s work in the field of promoting institutional integrity closer to students and raising awareness of the importance of the culture of public ethics in future public managers.
This training action reinforces the AVAF’s commitment to the training of public managers who understand strategic management as a space of opportunity for good governance. Initiatives such as this contribute to strengthening the professionalisation of the public sector and promoting a more open, effective and accountable administration.
Valencia, 31 October 2025.– The Directorate of European Programmes and Funds of the Ministry of the Environment, Infrastructure and Territory and its instrumental public sector (ATMV, EPSAR, FGV and VAERSA) of the Generalitat Valenciana organised the conference “Culture of integrity. From prevention to internal information systems”.
The training session was given in person and online, from the Administrative City 9 d’Octubre de Valencia by the staff of the Training Area of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) who offered specialized training in integrity and fraud prevention within the anti-fraud measures plans.
The conference was aimed at public employees and senior officials of the Ministry of the Environment, Infrastructure and Territory and its instrumental public sector (ATMV, EPSAR, FGV and VAERSA) of the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as all people interested in the matter.
With this initiative, the AVAF reaffirms its commitment to preventive training and the promotion of a culture of public integrity, promoting professionalization and transparency in the management of public resources.
