The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency reinforces training in public integrity in the Generalitat Valenciana

Valencia, 31 October 2025.– The Directorate of European Programmes and Funds of the Ministry of the Environment, Infrastructure and Territory and its instrumental public sector (ATMV, EPSAR, FGV and VAERSA) of the Generalitat Valenciana organised the conference “Culture of integrity. From prevention to internal information systems”. 

 

The training session was given in person and online, from the Administrative City 9 d’Octubre de Valencia by the staff of the Training Area of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) who offered specialized training in integrity and fraud prevention within the anti-fraud measures plans.

 

The conference was aimed at public employees and senior officials of the Ministry of the Environment, Infrastructure and Territory and its instrumental public sector (ATMV, EPSAR, FGV and VAERSA) of the Generalitat Valenciana, as well as all people interested in the matter.

 

With this initiative, the AVAF reaffirms its commitment to preventive training and the promotion of a culture of public integrity, promoting professionalization and transparency in the management of public resources.

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency presents its educational project “Docuforum AVAF” at the XII NOVAGOB 2025 Congress in Barcelona

València, 28 d’octubre de 2025.- The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) has participated in the XII Public Innovation Congress – NOVAGOB 2025, held on October 27 and 28 at the World Trade Center in Barcelona, one of the leading meetings in the field of innovation in the Ibero-American public sector.

 

Pilar Moreno García, technician of the AVAF Training Area, took part in the round table “Ideas and cases of transformation and public innovation in public policies”, where she presented the project “AVAF Docuforum: A consolidated model of education for integrity with Valencian youth”.

 

During his speech, Moreno explained how this program has become an innovative tool for civic education, aimed at promoting critical thinking, public ethics and the active involvement of students in the face of corruption. The model combines the viewing of documentaries with debate in the classroom, generating spaces for reflection on democratic values and public integrity.

 

Since 2021, the AVAF Docuforum has reached more than 4,300 young people from 18 schools and 7 universities in the Valencian Community, thanks to the collaboration of more than 40 teachers. The project has evolved from the first university editions in 2018 to its implementation in schools, ESO, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training institutes, using participatory methodologies and gamification resources.

 

In its last four years of existence, the DocuforumAVAF has addressed issues such as the protection of whistleblowers of corruption, the importance of integrity in public management and the role of youth as agents of social change.

 

With initiatives such as this, the AVAF reinforces its commitment to the prevention of fraud and corruption, the promotion of public ethics and training in democratic values, fundamental pillars of its institutional work.

 

Riba-roja de Túria reinforces its commitment to institutional integrity with a training day of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency

Riba-roja de Túria, October 22, 2025.– “Culture of integrity. From prevention to internal information systems” was the conference organized by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF) that brought together public employees from various municipal areas of the City Council of Riba-roja de Túria.

 

The opening of the day was given by Jose Ángel Hernández Carrizosa, member of the anti-fraud committee and Councilor for Public Finance, Public Procurement, Administration and General Services, who welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of consolidating a preventive culture against fraud and corruption as part of the daily operation of the administration.

 

On behalf of the AVAF, Anselm Bodoque, head of the Agency’s cabinet and studies, presented the institutional framework of integrity and explained the role of the Agency in accompanying local entities to promote robust prevention systems.

Subsequently, Mayte López, training technician of the Area of Training, Participation, Communication and Relations with other entities of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency addressed the institutional system of the fight against corruption from the perspective of the Valencian Community.

 

Pilar Moreno, a technician in the Training Area, analysed the existing risks in decision-making and the importance of rigorously planning administrative processes to avoid errors and bad practices. In his speech, he recalled that “knowing the risks is the first step to prevent them”.

 

The day continued with the intervention of Marita Oliver, technician of the Training Area, who presented the main novelties of Law 2/2023 in terms of internal information systems and external reporting channels. The management of conflicts of interest generated an intense exchange of opinions among the attendees, highlighting the growing awareness of public ethics at the municipal level.

 

With this new awareness day, the AVAF and the City Council of Riba-roja de Túria reaffirm their commitment to the construction of a culture of integrity in local administration, understood not only as a legal obligation, but as a fundamental value to strengthen institutions and improve the confidence of residents. The Training Area thanks the City Council of Riba-roja de Túria for its collaboration and wide willingness to host this training session.
