Registration of personal data processing activities

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with respect to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data and by which the Directive 95/46 / EC, establishes the obligation to keep a record of the processing activities and the information that, by virtue of the principle of transparency, is necessary to be offered on the processing of personal data carried out by public bodies.

This record will contain:

  • the name and contact details of the responsable and the data protection officer;
  • the purposes of the treatment;
  • a description of the categories of data subjects and of the categories of personal data;
  • the categories of recipients of communications of personal data, including recipients in third countries or international organizations;
  • where appropriate, transfers of personal data to a third country or an international organization;
  • the terms foreseen for the conservation of the different categories of data;

The technical and organizational security measures referred to in article 32, section 1 of the aforementioned Regulation, aimed at guaranteeing a level of security appropriate to the risk to which the data may be exposed, are described in a general way in the section on the  Security Policy of this web. In accordance with the foregoing, the processing activities carried out by the Agency are the following:

Rights of those affected

Any person affected by a data processing carried out by the Agency for the Prevention and Fight against Fraud and Corruption of the Valencian Community has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether it is processing personal data that concerns them, or a negative response in otherwise, within the limits established in current regulations.
Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which were collected.

In certain circumstances, the interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in these cases they will only be kept for the exercise or defense of claims.
In certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, the interested parties may object to the processing of their data. In these cases, the Agency will stop processing the data, except for legitimate or compelling reasons, or for the exercise or defense of possible claims.

These rights can be exercised before the administrative unit indicated in the detailed description of each of the treatments.
