Alicante, February 23, 2022.- The Rector of the University of Alicante, Amparo Navarro, and the director of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, Joan Llinares, have signed a collaboration framework agreement between both institutions to develop joint actions in the field of prevention and fight against corruption.
Among the actions that will be carried out as a result of the signing of this agreement are the carrying out of cultural, educational, publishing and scientific activities; the use of premises and facilities to hold specific activities or collaboration and assistance in the field of new technologies.
Within the framework of this framework agreement, the possibility of signing specific agreements for carrying out training practices in the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency by students of the University of Alicante to expand their studies and training in the field of ethics and integrity is also included. public.
During the formal act, held in the rector’s office, Navarro stressed “the importance of this type of collaboration that focuses on the formation of a new generation of citizens with an important institutional ethical commitment”.
For his part, the director of the Agency, Joan Llinares, declared that “the signing of this collaboration agreement with the University of Alicante shows the Agency’s interest in bringing our objectives of promoting ethics and public integrity in all universities closer together.” of the Valencian Community, a place where the professionals of the future who will join the management of our public and private organizations are being trained”.
