169 people participate in the course taught by the Agency together with the Ministry of Participation, the FVMP and the councils of Alicante, Valencia and Castellón

València, march 29, 2023.- The Agency has participated in the online training session “Law 2/2023, a paradigm shift in the fight against corruption. Impact on the Valencian Community. (Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report on regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption)”, organized together with the Ministry of Participation of the Generalitat Valenciana, the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, and the councils of Alicante, Castellón and Valencia.

Antoni Lorente, Regional Secretary of Transparency of the Ministry of Participation was in charge of making the presentation of the day.

The director of the Agency, Joan Llinares, presented the pillars of the anti-corruption architecture in the Valencian Community and the paradigm shift involved in the approval and entry into force of Law 2/2023, of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report on regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption.

Javier Alama, head of the Information Systems service, shared the tool used for the creation of the internal channel for the reception of information in all the entities obliged by the new law.

The session has had 169 participants via online who have asked questions related to the bodies responsible for creating the information system, the figure of the person responsible for the system, as well as the procedure to follow for the management of the internal channel.

The Valencian Antifraud Agency collaborates in the improvement for the inspection of services

The AVAF participated in the course “Improvement for the inspection of services. Update 2023” organized by the IVAP and the General Inspection of Services of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Gustavo Segura, the Agency’s Director of Analysis and Research, gave one of the 5-hour course sessions, where he explained the research methodology used by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.

The participating public employee personnel, selected for training, received training in the Administrative City on October 9 over 5 days where issues such as labor disputes, mediation, audits of information systems and operational audits were discussed.

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency has delivered the 2022 Activity Report to the President, Síndics and members of the Mesa de les Corts Valencianes

Valencia, March 28, 2023.- The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency has delivered the Activity Report corresponding to the year 2022 that has taken place in the Saló dels Espills de les Corts Valencianes thus complying with the mandate contained in article 22 of Law 11/2016 on the creation of the Agency.

The director of the Agency, Joan Llinares, has delivered the two volumes of the Report, one in Valencian and one in Spanish, to the president of Les Corts, Enric Morera. The event was also attended by the Syndics of all the parliamentary groups and the Mesa de les Corts.

The Report includes the activity carried out by the Agency during 2022 in the area of training, prevention and documentation; the legal and whistleblower protection area; analysis and research; administration, recruitment and human resources and communication.

After the act of delivery of the Report, the director of the Agency and the rest of the Consell de Direcció of the Agency has attended the media in the Press Room of Les Corts.
