What is it and what is the Complaints Box of the Antii-Fraud Agency for?

The Complaints Box is a secure channel for electronic participation that arises from the need to offer, on the part of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, a space that allows citizens to file complaints over the Internet.

This mailbox incorporates mechanisms that guarantee the confidentiality of all information and offers a secure communication space to maintain contact with the Agency and allow interaction between it and the complainants anonymously.

Thanks to this channel, it is possible for any person or public servant to provide information on cases of fraud or corruption of which they are aware without suffering reprisals.

It is therefore a means of fighting fraud that preserves the identity of the person making the communication and also incorporates tools to also guarantee the rights of the people who are reported.

It should be noted that to avoid misuse of the mailbox, strict criteria are applied to admit communications with the requirement of civil, criminal or administrative responsibility of people who report facts with abuse of rights or violating the principle of good faith. That is, false reports.

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency does not have competence in the functions and matters that correspond to the judicial authority, the prosecution service and the judicial police, nor can it investigate the same facts that have been the subject of its investigations.
