One more year, the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency debates corruption in the classrooms of the Polytechnic University of Valencia
Since the moment of its creation, the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency has maintained collaboration systems in matters of training and public ethics with the Polytechnic University of Valencia. On this occasion, through the Docufòrums-AVAF activity on public integrity with the second year student of the Degree in Public Administration and Management.
The docufòrum was held on Wednesday, November 22, with the attendance of 53 students, and the participation of the Information and Administrative Documentation teacher, Antonia Ferrer Sapena, and the Training technician, Marita Oliver.
After watching the documentary Corrupción: Harmful Organism, the students ask questions, focused on the origin and causes of corruption, its effect and costs, the perception of corruption in our society and with respect to other countries around us, and on how to combat corruption.
In the debate, special attention was paid to prevention, current measures against fraud and corruption, the consequences of corruption, beyond the economic ones, and the impact of corruption on citizens’ trust in public institutions.
The activity is coordinated in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia, which we thank for its interest and willingness to help create a culture of public integrity and rejection of fraud and corruption.
