Madrid. – November 17, 2023

“Key transformations in local administrations” was the round table in which the AVAF had its presence in the selective online course organized by the National Institute of Public Administration.

Good governance, the promotion of integrity and the prevention of fraud as drivers of transformation of public administration has been the topic addressed by Pilar Moreno García, AVAF training technician in the round table related to public management, one of the subjects addressed in the common block of the selective course for national qualified students.

Prevention, Detection, Correction and Prosecution is the new ABC of the fight against corruption, where integrity systems and internal information systems have emerged as implementation tools.

The more than 250 local administration officials with national qualifications who participate in the selective entry-level internal promotion course at the National Institute of Public Administration have had the opportunity to reflect on the most common difficulties in the field of good government and the fight against corruption.

One of them is not taking into consideration the obligations of local entities contemplated in Law 2/2023 of February 20, regulating the protection of people who report regulatory infractions and the fight against corruption, such as the implementation of internal information systems.

The AVAF made available to students a bibliography and survival kit that includes guides, recommendations, AVAF catalogues, as well as the “Integrity Code of the Valencian Community” downloadable here.
