DocuforumAVAF brings ethics and integrity closer to the students of the IES Álvaro Falomir

Almassora. – February 19, 2025. For the second consecutive year, the students of 4th year of ESO History of the IES Álvaro Falomir have participated in DocuforumAVAF, a learning experience promoted by the Training Area of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.

 

Pilar Moreno García, training technician, presented to the students the origin, functions and work of the Agency in the fight against fraud and corruption in the Valencian Community, encouraging reflection on the importance of ethics and public integrity.

Journalism and integrity: UJI students explore the role of the media in the fight against corruption

Castellón. – February 19, 2025. More than 85 first-year students of the Journalism degree at the Universitat Jaume I de Castellón have participated in the DocuforumAVAF training experience, where they have reflected on the key role of journalism in the fight against fraud in the public sector.

 

Pilar Moreno García, technician of the Area of Training, Participation, Communication and Relations with other entities of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency, shared with the students the importance of journalistic ethics and the commitment to public integrity.

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency highlights the importance of internal information systems at the Fisabio Foundation

València, february 18, 2025. More than 120 people participated in the training session organized by the Fisabio Foundation, with the aim of publicizing its internal information system. The session was given by the Training Area of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF).

 

Marita Oliver, Training Technician at the AVAF, explained in detail the origin of the obligation to have this whistleblowing channel, its objectives and how it works. He also highlighted the existence of the external information channel in the Valencian Community, managed by the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.

 

The implementation of an internal information system to receive communications about possible regulatory infringements is a legal requirement in both the public and private sectors.
