Agreement with the Anti-Corruption Office of the Balearic Islands

On June 29, on the occasion of the first constitutive meeting of the Network of Anti-Fraud Agencies, the directors of the Agency for Prevention and Fight against Fraud and Corruption of the Valencian Community and the Office for Prevention and Fight against Fraud and the Corruption of the Balearic Islands, signed a Framework Agreement to establish a permanent channel of communication and collaboration to improve the efficiency in the fulfillment of the objectives of common interest.

This agreement will be developed through protocols and specific agreements that will aim at collaboration, joint evaluation of their respective experiences and, among other issues, collaboration in conducting studies and training activities, as well as carrying out dissemination activities. aimed at citizens in matters of prevention of corruption, the promotion of institutional integrity and transparency.

The Castellón City Council meets with the Agency for the implementation of the municipal Office against fraud

The government team of the city of Castellón met this morning with the director of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVA), Joan Llinares, and the director of Prevention, Training and Documentation of this, Silvia Vernia, to learn about their activity and develop the proposal approved in the extraordinary plenary session in February to create a municipal office against fraud and corruption. On behalf of the government, the councilor for Transparency, Ignasi García, the vice mayor and delegate of the Open Government and Participation area, Ali Brancal, and the councilor Anna Peñalver were present.

The mayor García explained that “what we have done is to know different models of different municipalities that are already operating such as Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona or the one that the Botanical government is carrying out to know what are the steps that we have to follow as a government to develop it ». The Councilor for Transparency has stated that this agency of good practices has to dedicate itself mainly “to preventing certain behaviors that creep and that do not benefit all citizens.

The Valencian Antifraud Agency signs a collaboration agreement with the Office of Good Practices of the Barcelona City Council

On September 21, the signing of a new framework collaboration agreement was held in Barcelona on this occasion, between the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency and the Office of Good Practices of the Barcelona City Council.

This agreement continues with those already signed with the Anti-Fraud Agencies of the autonomous communities of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. With the same objective, to better coordinate the existing Agencies in Spain.

Its purpose is to establish a permanent channel of communication and collaboration to improve the efficiency in the fulfillment of objectives of common interest and to be able to develop through protocols and specific agreements that have as their objective the prevention of corruption, the promotion of institutional integrity and transparency.
